What Is DragonSword: Awakening?

DragonSword: Awakening is a buy-to-play anime open-world action RPG from Hound13, the studio behind Dragon Nest. Built in Unreal Engine 5 across 5 factions and 19 playable heroes, it was originally designed as a live-service gacha game — but the team stripped out every microtransaction before global release. Everything is earned in-game, never bought.

Combat runs on a 3-hero tag-team system: apply a status effect, trigger a Signal Skill, then swap mid-combo to juggle enemies into the air. With no energy system, grind the open world freely, ride familiars that glide and wall-climb, and push through a ~25-hour campaign into 2-player Hunts and 3-player Raids.
